Introductory CertificateQualifications frequently asked questions Overview In 2004 APM worked with the Department for Education and Skills to develop the APM Introductory Certificate in Project Management which offers an insight into this exciting and challenging discipline. No prior knowledge or experience in project management is required for this certificate. Successful candidates will be able to understand the language of project management and the structure of a successful project. Registering To follow a course with a training provider: Please contact them directly to find out dates, prices and locations. If you follow a training course with an accredited training provider an application form to register for the exam will be provided for you. To sit the Introductory Certificate exam on one of APM’s Open Events: Places are allocated on a first come first served basis when the completed application form and full payment has been received. Spaces are limited, so booking early is recommended. No bookings can be taken less than 10 working days before the examination. Payment can be made by cheque (payable to APM) or by credit/debit card.
