Overview

Individual membership of APM brings you the support and resources of Europe’s largest national project management association. APM offers four levels of membership:

Student
Student membership is designed for full-time students and most part-time students, who attend courses with a significant project management element. Student members will also automatically become members of APM's entry level project manager initiative, APM Inspire .

Associate
Associate membership is for individuals with a strong professional interest in managing projects  and those with less than 5 years experience in project management.

Full member (MAPM)
To qualify for full membership you must have at least five years' relevant project management experience, including project and budgetary responsibility, as well as technical understanding. Full membership entitles you to hold the post-nominal MAPM.

Fellow (FAPM)
Fellowship recognises a significant contribution to the development of the art and science of project management, either as practitioner, teacher or researcher. Fellowship entitles you to hold the post-nominal FAPM. To be awarded FAPM, you should have either at least 5 years full membership of APM, or at least 10 years experience at a senior level. Most importantly, you need to demonstrate the contribution you have made to the profession as a whole.

We have recently reviewed and updated the fellowship application process. Please make sure you have the latest fellowship information pack so that your application fits with the new requirements. All applications must be submitted in the new format.
