The North West branch covers APM activities over a large geographical area including Merseyside, Cheshire, Lancashire, Cumbria and Greater Manchester. We also have a distinct chapter on the Isle of Man - if you live or work on the island or will be visiting and would like to get in touch with local APM members, please contact Paul Slinger. We have over 1800 individual members from a wide range of commercial, industrial and administrative sectors. There are over 50 corporate APM members with head offices located in our branch area, all of which actively support our initiatives for member service improvements. Further and higher education establishments located in our region are leading proponents for under and postgraduate education and innovative research in the field of project management. The branch offers a diverse range of events throughout the year including all-day seminars, evening presentations and works tours. These events present high-calibre speakers and attract large audiences. At present there are no chapters in the region but there is scope for development in Cumbria, Merseyside and North Lancashire, if sufficient support can be generated. Nationally and locally We are a group that strives for excellence and endeavours to keep the costs of your participation at a best value level, charging only when essential. In addition to the national and international benefits of APM membership, the North West branch offers the following:
