Profile

With more than 2,500 members dispersed over a large geographical area, meetings are held in each of the main regional towns to give all members of the branch the opportunity to benefit from both networking and continuing professional development (CPD).

Thames Valley Branch has six sub-Branches known as Chapters: Swindon, Oxford, Heathrow, Farnborough, Chilterns and Reading . The Chapters are aimed at providing the opportunity for a local focus of activities avoiding the need for members travelling significant distances to attend Branch meetings.

The branch has an extensive programme of activities throughout the year organised on behalf of the members through the main and chapter committees. Members who are interested in becoming involved in this exciting role should contact the chairman.

The mission of the Thames Valley branch of the Association for Project Management is to raise the profile of project management in the Thames Valley through:

  • The communication of project management theory and practice.
  • The promotion of the APM Body of Knowledge (BoK).
  • Catering for the needs of the current and future project management community.
